      CHPAPTER 1 CHPAPTER 2 CHPAPTER 4 MAIN INDEX  Glowing presence for women The “Al Jawhara” Council, which is the women›s council at Dubai Courts, managed to register a distinguished presence by achieving remarkable performance during 2019, manifested in the implementation of 26 diverse initiatives, holding 10 meetings, in addition to 8 participations in national events and sports and health activities at the department level, as well as external participations, and a visit to the Al-Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi, and volunteer work (Their Suhoor on Us) in the holy month of Ramadan. Among the most important initiatives that have been implemented: 1. Our Workers Are Fine initiative, whereby free medical checkups were provided to workers. 2. Alaikom Bel Afia initiative, whereby a group breakfast was organized for the Courts’ female employees. 3. Organizing a special event titled Women in the Year of Tolerance, coinciding with the International Women›s Day. 4. Honoring support teams for their efforts in 2018. 5. Presenting thank-you letters to all mothers at Dubai Courts in celebration of the Mothers Day. 6. Opening a nursery for the children of female employees at the Civil Status Court›s building. 7. Organizing a training course titled Reward Yourself. 8. Holding the introductory meeting of the Social Cultural Team. 9. Ramadan events: Presenting a lecture and organizing an exhibition titled Welcome Ramadan. 10. Organizing an Eid gathering for female staff. 11. Organizing a weekly initiative entitled «Cool Your Heart» with the aim of spreading joy, happiness and positivity among employees and customers alike. 12. Implementing a career and family success workshop. 13. Celebrating the Emirate Women›s Day, and launching the Al Jawhara Medal on this occasion. 14. Opening the registration of the children of female employees in the nursery, in order to provide a work environment that caters to the needs of working mothers and meet their family commitments. 15. The participation of the women sports team in Shiekha Hind Women Sports Tournament. 16. Holding a discussion session with new female employees and summer training female students. 17. Celebrating the International Child Day at penal and reform institutions.  107
