The branch considers all disputes arising from the execution of a citizen's home building contract.
1. The contract value must be less than 10,000,000 AED.
2. The branch is specialized in disputes that arise during the contract execution or after the issuance of the completion certificate and during the maintenance period only.
3. The following criteria must be met for accepting the registration of the dispute case according to the jurisdiction of the Center for Resolving Citizens' Home Building Disputes:
- Outstanding or withheld payments.
- Change orders in materials, specifications, or quantities.
- Prices of construction materials, bills of quantities, and refund rights.
- Maintenance work and the contractor's refusal to repair.
- Delay in completion.
- Obligations of the contractor and the engineer and the scope of their work.
- Engineering or design errors.
Out of Jurisdiction:
1. Disputes after the maintenance period and final handover.
2. Pre-registered disputes in the courts.
