  CHPAPTER 1 Continuing the strategic course ANNUAL REPORT  until November 2019, by reducing paper consumption by 7,559,156 sheets out of the final target estimated at 13,629,924 based on the 2018 consumption, by achieving the following cuts: - 3.1 million papers from services provided to customers. - 4,2 million papers from main and support operations. - 115 papers from voluntary prints. Change Management initiative: As part of the efforts to ensure the success of such initiatives, focus was placed in changing court culture through participation, empowerment, encouragement and evaluation through the following: 1- The paperless transformation team for the judicial sector was formed in order to support and encourage the judicial sector. 2- All members were informed and engaged across stages to work in team spirit and ensure the achievement of the goal. 3- Including the transformation rate under internal award criteria. 4- Adopting reports on the monthly transformation rate at the unit level, and reviewing such reports on a quarterly basis by the leadership council. 5- Encouragement and celebration. Firm steps towards a paperless future: Based on the accomplishments achieved, DubaiCourtsistakingfirmstepstowardsits goals within the Dubai Paperless Strategy.
