About the court and its jurisdiction
One of the specialized Courts in Courts of First Instance that is presided over by a judge whose grade is not less than an appeal judge and who, in terms of administrative supervision, reports to the Court President of the Courts of First Instance. Its circuits are composed of a single judge and have the jurisdiction to consider and render judgments in civil and administrative lawsuits, regardless of their value, such as  
- civil contracts
- indemnity 
- Accidents 
- Medical malpractice 
- Appeals filed against decisions of Insurance Committees
- Insolvency applications 

Fees payable to the Court
Fees against lawsuits and applications are paid according to Local Fees Law applicable in the Emirate of Dubai.
