Further, the report covers the main performance indicators of the Courts, highlighting its successful initiatives and projects in many aspects, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, to continue to improve governmentworktoservepeopleandprioritize their happiness, taking into consideration the support of government entities in their quest to enhance services, increase focus on customers and optimize the usage of resources when providing government services. Dubai Courts’ annual report identifies the general performance indicators of the Courts’ three degrees: first instances, appeals and cassation, across all sectors. The year 2019 was characterized by the culture of tolerance, coexistence, pluralism and enhancement of capabilities to innovate ways and mechanisms to benefit. from the cultural diversity within the UAE society. Tolerance is evident across the Department’s strategies and initiatives, based on moderation and respect for all beliefs and religions, demonstrating the wise leadership›s appreciation for all residents on UAE soil. The Dubai Courts Charter for Tolerance and the Tolerance and Settlements Center are two great examples for the Courts’ accomplishments. Also, the Justice and Tolerance campaign was launched under the motto “Together Towards a Tolerant Society” alongside the Center for Amicable Settlement of Disputes which seeks to resolve disputes without resorting to courts in order to ensure justice and secure rights for all parties amicably. In addition, the Family Guidance and Reconciliation Center provides substitutes for litigation through the use of guidance to resolve family disputes. For Dubai Courts, 2019 was a year of accomplishments.
