CHPAPTER 2 CHPAPTER 3 CHPAPTER 4 MAIN INDEX World Justice Project (WJP) Dubai Courts ranked 32 globally out of 126 in the final ranking, while it ranked 19th in the criminal justice index and 26th in the civil justice index, according to the indicators of the Global Justice Project, which is an independent, non-profit, multi- disciplinary organization, founded by William Neukom in 2006 in the United States. It attracts supporters from all over the world with various interests and disciplines, and works to advance the rule of law around the world, by conducting research and collecting data and practical programs that it provides through an active and global network. It aims to support development by fighting corruption and poverty, establishing societies of justice, equal opportunities, good governance, and respect for fundamental rights and justice. These accomplishments reaffirm the success of the strategic course towards excellence and improving the competitive capabilities of Dubai Courts, which were launched several years ago by working on many areas: 33
