      CHPAPTER 2 CHPAPTER 3 CHPAPTER 4 MAIN INDEX  Dubai Courts has maintained the gains it made in the past year, which are partly reflected by the World Bank’s annual Competitiveness Report, especially in terms of achieving the 9th position globally in the contracts enforcement category for the 2nd consecutive year and achieving advanced results globally in a number of other indicators, in addition to maintaining its leadership position regionally, by occupying the1stplaceintheArabworldinthefieldof contract enforcement for the 5th consecutive year, which reflects its constant quest for leadership in accordance with the directives of the supreme leadership, represented by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which also confirms its determination to continue the steady course towards In Numbers achieving its vision of being «world-leading pioneering courts», its widespread awareness of its pivotal role in the comprehensive development process that the UAE has been witnessing for decades, and its belief that what it achieves in positive gains will impact the balance of the entire UAE, and willbenefittheclassificationofthecountry in more than one area. Undoubtedly, maintaining these accomplishments is the fruit of the accumulated and systematic efforts of work teams across different locations year after year, demonstrated by quality initiatives and projects, and continuous improvement plans in judicial and administrative operations and services, which led collectively to the enhancement of the competitive advantage of Dubai Courts at the world level, which we will describe in detail in this report. 19
