CHPAPTER 4 Media presence ANNUAL REPORT Lost passport certificate service through shared Blockchain for 4 government bodies in Dubai Dubai Courts signed an MoU with Dubai Police General Command, Dubai Public Prosecution and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, to develop the service of submitting lost passport certificates through the Blockchain platform shared by all parties, which will contribute to reducing application procedures for a “lost passport” certificate from 8 steps to 3 only. Dubai Courts maintains 9th position in the world and 1st position in the Arab world in the Contract Enforcement category of the World Bank report For the second year in a row, Dubai Courts ranked 9th in the world in the field of contract enforcement within the original annual report of the World Bank for ease of doing business and ranked 1st in the Arab world for the 5th consecutive year, as the exclusive representative of the United Arab Emirates. 122
